13 Seconds Of Silence

13 Seconds of Silence is a high energy grunge rock band from Millbrook Alabama.

 

Formed when the band met at their church youth group, where they immediately hit it off and felt an affinity for a mix of rock and grunge.

The band was started by twin brothers Matthew and Ethan Linna.  They had been working on a number of songs and had performed as a two piece act. when they met guitar player Powell Franklin. The band was then joined by Chris Offutt taking over on drums. Chris Offutt was the drummer from February 2022 to October 2023, when Chris left to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Chris was then replaced by Zack Dingman.

The band is led by Matthew Linna and his emotive vocals & rhythm guitar;  Powell Franklin on lead guitar; while Ethan Linna provides the bass line & backing vocals; and Zack Dingman on drums.
